The KISA (Kong Impact Shock Absorber) heatsink allows the use of two different diameters of the rope, inserted in different holes, in order to obtain different degrees of friction and sliding. The user must carefully determine the most suitable use of the tool and the length of the rope to be slid. The most suitable configurations may vary depending on the weight and different types and different conditions of the rope. With wet ropes the slip is less. KISA can also be used to increase the security of retention points (carabiners, plates, nails) in critical situations / positions.
